Swan House

Swan House, the former Swan Pub in Marsden, sits at the bottom of Peel Street in the heart of the community. Prior to being bought by Byram Property Group, it had been empty and left boarded up for 12 months. It had become an eyesore. We renovated it into six shop units and three holiday lets. Now, it is a thriving hub of business and sits proudly, hugely improving the look of the village.

Sass Wellbeing Studio & Coffee

Sass Wellbeing Studio & Coffee Shop was a former workshop. The owner was nearing retirement and approached us to purchase the building. We bought it, got a tenant in from the early stages and purpose-built it for their needs. It is now a successful yoga studio and coffee shop, attracting people from 10+ miles into the village centre.

Station House

Station House was a former fire station, which had closed years prior to being bought by Byram Property Group in 2017. It had become an eyesore. We bought it and turned it into a build-to-rent scheme, offering affordable, accessible rental opportunities to local people aged 55+.

Empire House

Empire House was Slaithwaite’s Old Town Hall. For 30 years, the building had been offices. Recognising the demand for local collaborative spaces, and following the pandemic, the need for somewhere to escape the working-from-home model, Empire House was born. Now, it is a part-time home to almost 75 freelancers, business owners and directors, who benefit from its social and networking elements.

We have been tenants for over 20 years. It’s great to have a landlord that shares the same values that we do for business and the enhancement of the local area.
